Curry Udon @ $9.90 AUD

Don Bay is a small Japanese restaurant which is just right in one of the alleys at Collin street. There are very limited seating so they focus mainly on takeovers and fast turnover. Classic Kilpatrick Oyster @ $16 AUD (1/2 Dozen)

Sichuan House ★★ $$$

Spicy Cumin pork Ribs @ $21.80 AUD

This restaurant is within one of the alleys in China Town. The walkway is a little dodgy but many still come here for some Szechuan food. This place used to be my favourite place whenever I am looking for cheap and tasty Szechuan food. It was previously leased by Dainty Sichuan. However, Sichuan House has taken over and I'm here to find out whether its as good as the old one.

Carmelo's Wood Fired Pizza and Restaurant ★★★ $$$

Florentine Pizza @ $15.50 AUD (Large)

It is no big secret that Wood-fired pizzas are always better than pizzas cooked in conventional oven. This is due to the fact that wood-fired oven provides an environment where good pizza is made. Kake Di Hatti ★★ $$

Kake di Hatti has been around for quite some time and seem to be a local favourite for many years. This can be understood as they serve Northern Indian food at cheap prices. In comparison to Southern Indian Cuisine which uses oil and cream as a cooking base, Northern Indian Cuisine is a healthier choice as they use water instead. As a result, their curries are also less heavy in taste as well.

Bone & Pot (有骨气) Steamboat Restaurant @ SS2 ★★★★ $$$

Signature Pork Bone Broth @ RM 15

You can never miss Bone & Pot whenever you pass by Kelana Jaya Station as it has a huge and brightly lighted sign board. The restaurant's Chinese name is rather catchy as it means "person with high integrity" which also represents their Special Pork Bone Broth (for less confusion, one of the Chinese characters has the word bone, hence comes the bone broth). Bone & Pot serves quality food so you will expect to see a lot of homemade dishes rather than ordinary seafood and frozen meats which is quite common in other steamboat restaurants.

Special Roti Canai @ RM 2.50

Roti Canai is a type of Indian-influenced flatbread found in Malaysia and has always been a local favourite. In this particular restaurant known as Al-Amnah, they came up with a variance to it and instinctively named it Roti Canai Special. Al-Amnah which is just opposite Restoran Noor shares the same shop and I came to know of this place by my uncle who loves to try new foods.

Super Crab Aroma Seafood (蟹王香海鮮) Restaurant ★★★★ $$$

My Elephant @ Section 17 ★★★★ $$$

Plah Nung Manow @ RM 45

Malaysia has numerous Thai restaurants and My Elephant is definitely one of the good ones. It is getting popular in Petaling Jaya as they have a 2nd branch which is located just at Hartamas. However, looking for this place was rather difficult, especially at night as we were surprised to find it just below the flats of Happy Mansion. There can be doubts for first timers as the surroundings are rather dodgy but the silly thing is that good food in Malaysia are normally in dodgy areas.
