Super Crab Aroma Seafood (蟹王香海鮮) Restaurant ★★★★ $$$

Butter Cheese Crab

By the shop name itself you can tell that they specialize in Crab. This Chinese restaurant is famous for its numerous Crab cooking styles. Don't let its outlook deceive you as what they have to offer may surprise you.

Butter Cheese Crab
Creamy and fragrant cheese sauce. Sauce was superb and it greatly complemented the crab meat. Sauce can also be dipped with Fried Man Tau (Chinese Bun) which was excellent. Crab was perfectly cooked as the flesh texture was just nice. Tender and Creamy.
Kam Heong Crab
Kam Heong is uniquely a Malaysian cooking style which literally means Golden Fragrance. Influenced by Chinese, Malay and Indian cooking styles and ingredients. A really fragrant and tasty sauce which works really well with most seafood dishes. A must try!!
He-She Crab
This Crab is known as the He-She Crab as it has organs of both male and female. As the flesh itself is sweet, the best way to cook it is by steaming it. Additional seasonings or ingredients will ruin the natural flavour of the flesh.
Salted Egg Crab
Another fragrant cooking style with a salty touch to it. Excellent combination with the crab.
Frog Porridge + Fish Slice @ RM 21.70 (Small)
Frog & Fish slices cooked in claypot congee. Broth was murky with a clear yet savoury taste. The congee was a more diluted congee than the usual ones which was great to drink with. Fish and Frog were fresh but taste can be lacking.
Stir fried Nai Pak @ RM 15
A dwarf version of  Baby Pak Choy. Nai Pak was a little overcooked but it still tasted great.
Steamed River Patin Fish (Silver Catfish)@ RM 118/kg
Sauce was simple yet tasty. Patin didn't have the muddy smell but it tasted rather bland and was slightly overcooked.
Stir Fried Octopus with Shrimp Paste @ RM 18 (Small)
Octopus was smooth and springy with a light chewy consistency. Sauce was very tasty, very similar to Kam Heong.
Boiled Octopus with Chilli Peanut Sauce @ RM 17 (Small)
Simple yet tasty. Went very well with the Chilli Peanut sauce.
Mongolian Pork Knuckle @ RM 48
Deep fried Pork Knuckle with Mongolian sauce and Fried Man Tau on the sides. The skin was a bit hard but the meat was tasty and tender. Sauce was tasty. Not sure what was in it but it had a mild curry, buttery and peppery taste to it. And also dipped with the Man Tau was delicious.
Superior Beancurd @ RM 12 (Small)
Silky smooth Japanese bean curd filled with Crab Meat, Mushrooms and Minced Pork. Always love Japanese bean curd as its much more fragrant and tastier than the usual bean curd. The fillings were fine but somehow it didn't worked well with the bean curd. The broth was savoury but there was nothing special.
Sweet & Sour Pork @ RM 13 (Small)
Deep-fried Pork with Sweet and Sour sauce. The crisp layer was wonderfully crispy and dense. The meat was tender and juicy. Sauce was pretty good but there was room for improvement.
Aloe Vera (Green Tea Flavour) @ RM 3.60
Packet drinks here are good and refreshing. Comes with 3 other flavours.
