Namaste India ★★★★ $$

Hariyali Banno [Left] @ $3.95 AUD & Butter Naan [Right] @ $2.50 AUD (Each)

On a search for good Indian Food, I came to know of this restaurant which was highly recommended by my friend. This restaurant not only offers North & South Indian food but also Malaysian & Indo-Chinese food. If you are looking for good and cheap Indian food. This is definitely the place.

Fish Chettinadu @ $10.95 AUD

Fish cubes (Boneless) flavoured with pepper, coriander leaves and curry leaves. When it comes to spicy, this dish has set it to a whole new level. It was extremely spicy. It had a peppery and savoury taste to it. Aside from the spiciness, the fish was surprisingly tender. Give it a try IF you can really take spicy food.
Bhindi Masala @ $9.95 AUD
Baby Okra (also known as Ladyfinger) cooked in aromatic spices. This dish is cooked in Southern Indian style which means it is oil-based hence it has a heavier taste to it. Savoury with a hint of sour to it.
Butter Chicken @ $9.95 AUD
Marinated chicken pieces cooked in Tandoor, finished with silky puree of tomato and fenugreek leaves with a touch of cream. Chicken was slightly overcooked. Tandoor was not so creamy and buttery as the one I've tried at Classic Curry Company. Tandoor was also sweet and savoury. Compared to Classic Curry Company, the chicken was also not overly sweet. I actually prefer the butter chicken here.
Tandoori Chicken (Half) @ $9.95 AUD
Chicken Maryland marinated in hung curd, aromatic Indian spices and then grilled in Tandoor. If all of you are wondering what it hung curd, its basically drained yogurt. This makes it easier for the yogurt to stick to the chicken. Now back to how it tasted. Chicken was savoury and there was a hint of sourness to it. When served the didn't seem to be steaming hot but rather warm. Meat wasn't that tender and was a little dry inside. Tandoori Chicken here are not that great. Could have been better.
Hariyali Banno [Left] @ $3.95 AUD & Butter Naan [Right] @ $2.50 AUD (Each)
Hariyali Bannon is Naan baked with finely chopped mint, coriander, chillies and topped with garlic & butter. One of the best Naans I've ever tried. Herbs were really fragrant and the naan worked really well with the Dingri Doolma. A must order!! As for the Butter Naan, its a milder version but still good.
Murtabak Ayam (Chicken) @ $8.95 AUD
Grilled and fried Roti (Flatbread) stuffed with sliced chicken, onion, tomato, chilli, egg and spices. This dish is a savoury meaty dish. The stuffing were pretty thick and it really feels you up. The Roti by itself is already good enough and the curry just makes it better.
Chili Gobi (Dry) @ $7.95 AUD
Florets of cauliflower marinated in chef's special masala and cooked with chillies & herbs. Probably the tastiest cauliflower I've ever tried. Spicy, salty and savoury all in one. This dish can be quite spicy.
Lamb Rogan Josh @ $9.95 AUD
Boneless diced lamb cooked with onion, tomatoes & herbs. Lamb was tender and gravy was salty.
Special Eggplant Curry
This dish is not the menu. It was their specials. There was lots of ingredients. Mostly onions and spring onions. Was told that its an eggplant curry but there wasn't any. This dish is mildly spicy and savoury. Wouldn't recommend it though.
Dingri Doolma @ $9.95 AUD
Grated paneer with mushroom cooked in onion, cumin and tomato based gravy. Paneer is a fresh cheese commonly used in South Asia Cuisine. This dish goes really well with the Naan. One of my favourite vegetarian dish. Rich, fragrant and tasty. Taste is more towards the sweet side. A definitely must try dish!!
Lamb Saagwala (Spinach) @ $9.95 AUD
Boneless Lamb cooked with fresh spinach puree, herbs & spices finished with cream. Rich and creamy with a mild spice to it. The lamb was also tender.
Chicken Tikka Masala @ $9.95 AUD
A spicier version of Butter Chicken.
Goat Dum Ki Biryani @ $10.95 AUD
An aromatic combination of tender goat and basmati rice spiced and cooked by the Hyderabadi 'DUM' method. The rice is slightly longer and lighter than common rice. The rice was fragrant and fragrant. It was good by itself even without the curry. Another must order!!

Verdict (Highest-10)

Ambiance: 7 (Small restaurant. Seating can be a bit cramped.)
Overall: 8.5 (Definitely a keeper.)
