Cafe Mazz ★ $$$

Chicken Breast with Dianne Sauce @ $22 AUD (Large)

We arrived at Pemberton at night. As there were not many restaurants around and the supermarket was closed,  we had dinner here which was also where we were staying for the night.

Chicken Breast with Garlic Sauce @ $22 AUD (Large)
Pan fried Chicken Breast and creamy Potato Mash served with Garlic Sauce. Chicken Breast was tender and juicy but the sauce was rather average. It had a creamy savoury taste to it with very little hint of garlic. Potato Mash was pretty good but slightly rough as the texture was not as smooth as it could be.
Chicken Breast with Dianne Sauce @ $22 AUD (Large)
Pan fried Chicken Breast and creamy Potato Mash served with Dianne Sauce. Same as above but with a different sauce. Dianne sauce was creamy, sweet and sour but was more towards the sour side. Sauce was also average.
Pemberton Whole Fresh Water Trout @ $20.50 AUD
Pan fried fish with Potato Mash. Fish was not fresh as there was a heavy fishy smell. My friend who ordered this was suffering as he had trouble finishing it.
Beer Battered Fish Fillet @ $14 AUD (Small)
Beer Battered Fish fillet with beer battered chips. Was a much better choice than the Trout. Fish Fillet was crispy and soft in the inside with a salty touch to it.
On the next day, we had breakfast here as well as we didn't have much of a choice. Most of us had Continental Breakfasts which was $12 AUD and my friend had Pancake which was $7 AUD. The Breakfast came with a full choice of the buffet including juices, fruits, cereals, yoghurt and toast. Nothing much to talk about breakfast as it was stuff that we could get from supermarket. As for the Pancake, it was huge and dense served with Maple Syrup.

Verdict (Highest-10)
Food: 4 (Besides the fish, the food was edible but wouldn't say its fantastic.)
Service: 3 (Nothing much to comment about service as it was mostly self-service.)
Ambiance: 6 (Warm and cozy with a bar-like atmosphere)
Overall: 4 (Would prefer this over Samovar. For this I could finish it but for Samovar I had a hard time finishing it as the sauce was too creamy and feeling.)

Price: $7.50-37 AUD per main
