Samovar ★ $$$$

Garlic Prawns @ $26 AUD (Large)

Our journey towards South West Perth began. Stopped at Busselton and had dinner at Samovar. We chose this place as the outlook looked promising.

The place was spacious and decor is pretty close to a fine dining atmosphere.
Grilled Dhufish @ $33.50 AUD
Grilled Dhufish on ceasared baby potatoes with Lime Beurre Blanc. Dhufish was rubbery and tough. The sauce was overly creamy, tasteless and lacked in fragrance.
Pumpkin, Feta, Spinach & Caramelized Onion Tart @ $16 AUD
The tart came with asian greens, pear, candied Walnut & Parmesan Salad. Tart was dry and tasteless. The only nice thing about this dish was the salad.
Garlic Prawns @ $26 AUD (Large)
Garlic Prawns in creamy Cointreau sauce on Citrus Risotto Cake. Prawns were fresh but the sauce was too creamy and tasteless.
Fish & Chips @ $27 AUD
Snapper fillets in beer batter with tartare sauce served with salad and chips. Batter was crispy but the fillet lacked in seasoning and was slightly flaky. The tartare sauce was tasteless as well.

Verdict (Highest-10)
Food: 3 (The food was ordinary. For the price we paid for it was not worth it.)
Service: 6 (Staffs were friendly)
Ambiance: 7.5 (Atmosphere was nice and spacious.)
Overall: 4 (Wouldn't recommend this place. Food was expensive and wasn't great.)

Price: $19.20-34.90 AUD per main
