Tav Burger @ $11 AUD |
On our next pit stop at Margaret River, we came upon this place as it was highly recommended by our landlady. Could tell that this place is an absolute favourite among the locals as the place is crowded for the whole night.
Chicken Burger Royale @ $21 AUD |
House-crumbed free range chicken breast, bacon, cheese and farmhouse roll served with salads, aioli and chips on the side. The patty was tender on the inside with a minor crispiness on the outside but the burger was rather dry. A salty savoury burger.
Seafood Deluxe @ $29 AUD |
Seared Scallops & Prawns, crispy Calamari, poached King Prawn, Lager battered Fish, chips, salad, Cocktail & Tartare sauce. The dish was not as crispy as it should be. Sauce was average, nothing special.
Chicken Kiev @ $27 AUD |
House-made crumbed free-range chicken breast stuffed with herb & garlic butter topped with creamy garlic sauce. Served with rice and green vegetables. Chicken was tender and fragrant. Creamy garlic sauce had a salty savoury taste. Pretty decent but could have been better. Rice was ordinary, slightly overcooked.
Tav Burger @ $11 AUD |
Medium cooked 200g local ground Wagyu Beef with farmhouse roll. The patty was very dry so it was tasteless and had a rubbery texture.
Verdict (Highest-10)
Food: 5 (Food was average, nothing spectacular.)
Service: 6 (There was a long wait due to the crowd. Staffs were always busy.)
Ambiance: 7 (Great place to get for a drink.)
Overall: 6 (Probably the best the town could offer as there isn't much competition around.)
Price: $10 - 44 AUD per main
