Authentic Thai Taste ★★★ $$$

Thai Garlic Soft Crab @ $21.90 AUD

My friends came over to Melbourne for holiday. Had to find a place which can accommodate a huge group.

Indeed its a huge a place.
Great place to bring a huge crowd.
Thai Garlic Soft Crab @ $21.90 AUD
Love crispy dishes? This crab is batter-fried till the the shell of the crab becomes very crispy. Not only you can eat the whole crab but the meat inside is still sweet and creamy. Came with Thai Sweet Chili to give it the extra oomph. Great dish as the garlic makes it fragrant as well.
Calamari with Spicy Lemon Sauce @ $18.90 AUD
Another exotic seafood dish which might spice up your taste buds. Like the sauce as it had the tangy taste to it which comes from the lemon. However, didn't like the calamaris. Wasn't cut proportionally. The calamari rings were too big. Didn't like the texture of big calamaris.
Green Curry Chicken @ $18.90 AUD
Tried many Green curries in Melbourne. This is probably the most decent one. Sauce is not too thick and with Coconut Milk in it, it brings out the flavor of the curry.
Coconut Rice
Was curious how it taste like. I have a sensitive nose, so to me the rice is really fragrant. Goes well with curry.
Pork Shank @ $28.90 AUD
Pork was too dry which lost the succulent taste of the meat. Could have been better.
Thai Barbecue Chicken @ $16.90 AUD
Well marinated chicken. Had a strong flavor to it.
Kailan with Crispy Pork @ $18.90 AUD
Also known as Chinese Broccoli. Not a great dish. Heard they serve great Kangkung (Water Spinach) but couldn't get any as it was sold out.
Whole Barramundi with Papaya Salad @ $28.90 AUD
There was actually fish covered under the Papaya Salad. Not a great dish, the Papaya didn't go well with the fish. Guess the Apple Salad would have been a better choice.
Ice Ga Jung @ $7.70 AUD
Was wondering what is Ga Jung. Had to try it. Turns out its Thai Ice-Kacang (Shaved Ice). Too sweet for me.
Sticky Rice with Durian in Young Coconut @ $12.90 AUD
The name says it all. Great dessert I would say but pretty heavy for one. Had strong Durian taste in it and Sticky Rice texture was just right. A very fragrant dessert as well being cooked in the coconut.

Verdict
