Grossi Florentino ★★★ $$$$$

Slow Cooked Wagyu Rump Cap @ $58 AUD

It has been a while since I had fine dining.

Has two floors. Going up!
It has a traditional atmosphere which some people might like it.
Devilish Bun
No idea what bun was this so I shall call it the Devilish bun. Had lots of this since I was hungry.
Olive Oil Butter [Left], Olive Oil [Middle] & Lard [Right]
Like the texture of the butter as it was smooth but not much in taste. Didn't like the lard. Prefer lard which are cooked rather than eating it in this form.
Appetizer
Free appetizer from the kitchen. No idea what it was but had a nutty gravy taste to it. Tasted great actually.
Autumn Mushroom Salad @ $16 AUD
A great appetizer. A mix of different kinds of mushrooms and slices of Feta Cheese. Sprinkled with Balsamic Sauce. Excellent!
Glenloth Pigeon Breast & Leg Ravioli @ $55 AUD
A unique blend of spices for the sauce. Had a slight ginger taste to it. Ravioli came with beetroot balls on the bottom which was chewy. A little letdown with the pigeon as it was undercooked.
Yarra Valley Saddleback Suckling Pig Roast @ $55 AUD
Suckling Pig Roast with Apple Cider Reduction. Meat was succulent but tasted like western version of "Siu Yuk".
Duck & Wild Mushroom Tortellini @ $39 AUD
Tortellini with strong mushroom flavor. Would be great if it is just mushroom tortellini instead cause the mushroom has overpowered the duck's flavor.
Slow Cooked Wagyu Rump Cap @ $55 AUD
Perfectly cooked Wagyu Rump as the meat was tender and juicy. Salsa Verde on the sides with Fennel and Rosemary Praline. Great for meat lovers as the sauce compliments as well as retains the essence of the meat.
Abbacchio Alla Romana Suckling Lamb @ $55 AUD
Suckling Lamb cooked with White Wine, Garlic, Rosemary, Parmesan, Crumbs and Peperonata. Not a great mix.
Castricum Lamb Loin @ $55 AUD
Lamb was succulent. The sauce complements very well with the meat. One of my favorite dishes of the night.
Ricotta Ice Cream with Sweeten Grapes
Free desert from the kitchen again. Excellent dessert. The cream had a smooth and creamy texture to it with a little sweet sensation.
Valrhona Chocolate Souffle @ $26 AUD
Had fun playing with this dessert.
A hole was made into the Souffle then Chocolate sauce was poured into it. Souffle was very moist and soft.
Nougat Semifreddo @ $26 AUD
Attracts those who has a sweet tooth. Like the Pistachio cake which had a very soothing and sweet taste to it. Garnished with Honey Jelly and Glazed Fruit.

Verdict
Food: 7.5 (For the price that I paid for I was expecting more)
Service: 8 (Service was great, the waiters were all very well mannered and polite)
Ambiance: 7
Overall: 8

Price: $39 AUD and above
