Kedai Satay King Street ★★★ $

Grilled Beef Ribs Rice @ $9.80 AUD

Highly recommended by my close friend who lives nearby this restaurant. Kedai Satay serves Indonesian food and the highlight of restaurant is their Grilled ribs.

As it is a cheap eatery, not much focus is place on the decor.
Chicken Satay Skewers @ $10 AUD
Grilled Chicken Satay Skewers coated with Homemade Peanut Sauce served with Acar (Salad). Chicken Satay lacked of fragrance and was rather average. Nothing special. Disappointed as the restaurant name is called Kedai Satay so I was expecting their Satay to be good.
Tropical Grilled Chicken Rice@ $11.80 AUD
Marinated Chicken basked and grilled with Tropical sauce. Served with Lalapan (Salad), Indonesian Prawn Crackers and Sambal Belacan. Chicken was grilled to perfection but marinade was lacking. This was a rather spicy dish. Grilled Chicken from Bali Bagus is much better.
Grilled Beef Ribs Rice @ $9.80 AUD
Must try dish! Beef Ribs grilled to perfection and coated with Kedai's Special Rib Sauces. Served with Fresh Salad. Beef Ribs were excellent. The meat was sweet, tender and succulent. The best thing about it was that the meat came off easily from the bone. As for the sauce, it was basically their Peanut sauce.
Wildberry Freddo @ $4.20 AUD
Wouldn't recommend this dessert. Ice Cream was hard and not smooth. It was terribly frozen. The berries were frozen as well. There was excessive cream as well which did not complement it.

Verdict (Highest-10)
Food: 8 (Their ribs were excellent but their other dishes were rather average.)
Service: 5 (Staffs were friendly)
Ambiance: 6 (The outlook of the shop is rather old but the inside is decent)
Overall: 7.5 (Would definitely come back here for the Ribs.)

Price: $9.80-11.80 AUD per main
