Ying Thai 2 has always been a popular Thai restaurant in Lygon Street. The first branch is located at Richmond. My friends and I came here for dinner as it had been a long time since we eaten here.
Restaurant was crowded and we had to wait for 10 minutes to get a seat. The restaurant is oddly designed which shows no sign of a Thai restaurant.

Spotted this on the wall and decided to give it a try. Thai style Papayas sliced and mixed with Crispy Fish Skin. A sour appetizing dish which was really spicy as well. A decent appetizer.

Stir-fried Vegetables with Tofu and Soy Sauce. Decent stir-fry with fresh ingredients.

Stif-fried Pork with Chili Paste, Long Bean, Bamboo Shoots and Basil Leaves. When it was served, the smell was rather weird. Nevertheless, food was decent and spicy.

Thai Green Curry cooked in coconut milk and vegetable. Green curry was slightly diluted and lacked fragrance. The one at Authentic Thai Taste was much better. Nevertheless it was decent with the price you pay.
